Boris Räber has many years of experience in national and international M&A transactions as well as private equity and venture capital transactions. As an experienced corporate lawyer, he regularly advises start-ups and investors on financing (equity and debt), investment plans, exits and day-to-day legal issues.

He also assists companies in shareholder disputes, reorganizations, relocations and other corporate law and corporate governance matters. When advising boards of directors and management boards, clients also benefit from his experience as a board member and managing director in more than a dozen companies from a wide range of industries.

Boris Räber completed his legal traineeship at VISCHER AG in Zurich from 2011-2012, worked at Schellenberg Wittmer AG from 2013-2014 and practiced law at Walder Wyss AG in Zurich from 2014-2022.

After studying at the Universities of Zurich (BLaw, MLaw) and Salzburg, he completed his education at King's College, London, with a Master's degree in International Business Law (LL.M.). Boris Räber also obtained a Certificate in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute (London). During his studies, he worked as an assistant at the Faculty of Law at the University of Zurich and in the legal department of a leading outsourcing service provider. He has also gained his own entrepreneurial experience as the founder of a successful start-up.

Boris Räber is fluent in German and English. He also speaks Italian and French. He is registered with the Zurich Bar Registry and is authorized to conduct litigation throughout Switzerland.
