About him

Boris Räber has extensive experience with national and international M&A transactions as well as private equity and venture capital transactions. As experienced corporate lawyer, he regularly advises startups and investors on financing (equity and debt), participation plans, exits, and the legal issues of day-to-day business.

In addition, he supports companies in shareholder disputes, reorganizations, relocations, and other corporate legal issues and advises on corporate governance matters. When advising boards of directors and management, clients also benefit from his experience as a board member and managing director in more than a dozen companies in various industries.
Boris Räber completed his legal clerkship at VISCHER AG in Zurich in 2011-2012, worked at Schellenberg Wittwer AG from 2013-2014, and was an attorney at Walder Wyss AG in Zurich from 2014-2022.

After studying at the universities of Zurich (BLaw, MLaw) and Salzburg, he completed his education at King’s College, London, with a master’s degree in international business law (LL.M.). Boris Räber also obtained a Certificate in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute (London). During his studies, he worked as an assistant at the Faculty of Law of the University of Zurich and in the legal department of a leading outsourcing services provider. He also has entrepreneurial experience as founder of a successful startup.

Boris Räber is fluent in German and English. In addition, he speaks Italian and French. He is registered with the Zurich Bar Registry and admitted to practice in all of Switzerland.
