Michael Erben has several years of experience in the areas of M&A, venture capital and private equity, as well as corporate and contract law. He regularly advises national and international investors and start-ups on incorporations, financing rounds, restructurings, exits, and other legal matters in day-to-day business operations.

Before joining Advoro, Michael Erben worked for several years as an attorney in the M&A team of a major law firm in Zurich. Prior to that, he served as legal counsel in the legal department of a major Swiss employers’ association and a leading Swiss bank.

Michael Erben studied at the University of Zurich (BLaw and MLaw) and completed a semester abroad at the Universidade de São Paulo (USP) in Brazil.

He works primarily in German and English, and also speaks Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, and French. He is registered with the Zurich Bar and is authorized to represent clients before all courts in Switzerland.
